Quick start, configuration concepts, and troubleshooting.

Quick start

Install and launch Itzy Supervisor.
Add your application(s) to the monitored list (path + working directory).
Choose monitoring / restart rules (delays, retry limits).
Start supervision and verify logs on a test workload.
Enable tray/background mode if you want unattended operation.

Concepts

Workload: One monitored application or instance.
Rule: What to do when a process stops (restart, delay, retry cap).
Logs: Startup/shutdown and crash events stored in a structured folder layout.

Recommended safe defaults

Restart delay: 5–20 seconds
Retry cap: 3–10 attempts
Cooldown after cap: 5–15 minutes

Adjust based on how long your app needs to stabilize.

Troubleshooting

If an app doesn’t start: verify path, permissions, and working directory.
If restart loops happen: add retry limits and increase delay/cooldown.
If the UI shows running but the app is frozen: treat it as an application-level issue; consider adding your own health checks in future iterations.
